The 8525 is a marvel of computing. It is amazing, and the sliding keyboard makes you feel like you have a transformer in your pocket. It is much more powerful than the 680, and it is neater too. You will just get so much more use out of the more advanced model, even if you just stick to emails...

And no E62 isn't really a E61 successor. It seems smart phones with QWERTY form-factor are coming out left and right. But those with Wifi and especially E61's battery capacity seem fairly rare. E61 prices seem to be holding up. On Amazon, it went up from around $380 to $440.
