Lotus Blossom appeared in the 80's cartoon in 1989, while Karai didn't appear in the comics until 1992. The two characters are similar, but it's pretty much a coincidence.

Well there's your problem. You just made your phone run at 1/4 of it's normal speed. 450MHz is slow anyway by modern standards (newer phones run at 1,000MHz, or more). Android will kill off any process that's taking longer than 5 seconds to complete, hence the crashes.

there really isnt a cookbook. its fairly easy and straight forward. i think you need to boot into recovery and check it out, get familiar with it. after a couple updates, you will be an expert at updating your rom. btw, all the info is here on the forums. heres a thread that someone started...
