In the past, it seemed to have pretty much all basketball/football that aired on ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPNU. HD coverage of ESPN and ESPN2 games as well. Plus there were 3 SD channels of games from other sources (regional sports channels in the US).

I have never ever heard of this promotion and I am a NHL CI subscriber. Do a search on the boards, if it was a promotion, it would have for sure been mentioned here. If anything, people last year were bitching that price wasn't cut by NHL to lure people to get NHL CI.

Far more HD in EVU NHL CI HD than on Directv and more than on Dishnetwork. Now, can argue that the HD PQ is better on the US providers though. Directv has had about 5 HD games TOTAL in NHLCI so far this year. Five. Dishnetwork provides 2 feeds for each game when available (SD). Directv does not.

THe game was originally going to on FSN West HD, but they dropped they dropped the game. It is not rare for the HD version of the game in EVU NHLCI to be the other teams broadcast. Tomorrow Edm v Detroit, the SD version will be SNET West and the HD version will be FSN Detroit.

SportsNet HD has ZERO HD NHL games PERIOD. SO if you got it for that reason, you will surely be disappointed.

Ya, it was fixed. Just a note that this game was not on the original HD NHLCI schedule for EVU.
