Surely if you sign up to a blockbuster deal (the online rental ones where the DVRAB come in via the post) you can get new releases pretty soon after they are released or if not you can bide the time by watching old films because they have a large library through the postal scheme.

I think that they write the fight scenes first, then try, usually unsuccessfully, to find a plot to join them together. Or maybe there's an Asian George Lucas who writes them.

Just read a review which basically reckons the film is brilliant and that the effects are a lot better than previously seen on trailers, great popcorn movie which in turn is not a bad thriller in itself.

Oddly, no. Given that the area was known and internationally protected by that point, it didn't seem to much that the would be dispatched to pick up civilians (including a minor celebrity) trapped on the island.

I think Corey Haim only has a small cameo part at the start of the film, like Drew Barrymore in Scream.

well not totally, whilst a check reveals you're right about parnassus, i was right in thinking that the four actors play versions of the same character in the film i'm sure you knew what i meant ;)

My views on EPII was much better now Ive seen it more than once. If you can throw the slightly pukish love story out of the window (at least get rid of that damn cheesy meddow scene) then its bareable.. I loved the fight scene with the drop ships etc second time out. Id give the film now an 8...

This film got a bit of a slating when it came out but I remember it being pretty good.

I liked JP3 definately better than JP2.

Thanks for this info. I've been trying to work out why I couldn't find any screenings of the Blind Side this week. Whilst it might possibly be sentimental, amiRABt all the action films I'm looking forward to something a little different.

Mine has not been shipped yet so I'm going to try and cancel it and get the regular set although I do wonder if it will be increase in value as a limited edition
