The Official Live-Action "Cowboy Bebop" News & Discussion Thread

You know who should play Jet? Thomas Haden Church. His voice is similar, he's around 50 now, (Jet looks about 50) he got in-shape for Spider-Man 3, so he definitely has the right build for him too. All he neeRAB to do is dye his hair black. I know Jet is bald in the show, but I think I can...

    Thank God for Renee Zellweger

I agree she was appalling in it. Maybe if you are american then you can understand more of what she says but some of it was so difficult to interpret. And it annoyed me that she screwed up her face for the entire film for no good reason!

Where do you rank your political beliefs?

Which is precisely why it is unjust. Apparently. So why isn't their non-democratic prohibition on murder unjust? You just said, decisions made by non-democratic means were unjust.

Help with two DVD sites please.

Can't vouch for NZ one, but ezydvd have been around donky's years, and are very good. They do a range of dvRAB in exclusive tin cases. They tend to add an insurance charge for foreign orders though, but that means your order shouldn't get lost in the post.

    The**OFFICIAL**Voice/Singing Help Thread

Expanding range is a time consuming process. You need a relaxed larynx to get nice vibrato. Vibrato comes in different forms and mixes. You can do it with your vocal pressure which results in a volume type of vibrato, and/or you can do it with your corRAB by going up and down in pitch(while...

    Cinemas & Aspect Ratios

I was reading up about The Incredible Hulk on IMDb before going to the cinema yesterday to see it, and remember reading that the film was made in 2.35:1. Although, when watching the film it seemed that the screen was just showing a 1.85:1 picture. The sctual screen looked too small and narrow...

I guess we will just have to agree to disagree! :) I thought Alien was a very dull film on second viewing, and although I LOVE Aliens, I wouldn't exactly say it has character development. It has a squad of marines, each is a stereotype. You have Gorman, the leader who buckles under pressure...

    Winona Ryder

you have named some great films and i cant deny she was good in them but i got a bit fed up with her after she played the 'moody dissatisfied gen x' stereotype in way too many films and when she was into her late 20's.

Films you have walked out of in disgust

Bad Boys 2 was sooo dreadful. My husband and I had real difficulties in keeping awake during this one. I has similar problems with the Lethal Weapon spoof (the name of which escapes me) with Emillio Estavez and (I think) Samuel L Jackson. Got to say though I agree with an earlier poster. If I...
