    Traffic Cops BBC 1

I agree about the bloke on the bicycle, especially after letting that car driver get away scot free who was driving with no lights on, how the hell is a bicycle more dangerous than a car with no lights on. Sometiomes i think the cops on these programs are shown to be a bit too high and...

    Brokeback Mountain

It really didn't do anything for me last time I saw it, it's well shot yes but apart from that I didn't see what all the fuss was about frankly. Wouldn't watch it again.

    Oldies but goodies

Farscape is made by Brian Henson and some of the aliens have a hint of muppet about them. The 1986 Little Shop of Horrors also came from Henson's Creature Shop. Jim Henson used to have strict rules against doing horror/monster/slasher movies, which is why his special effects aren't used in...

    Terminator

I meant like where arnie cuts his skin and stuff probably not the best word, more the way its utilized fantastic special effects with the t-1000 compared to the skin and endoskeleten, i think that really worked well.

What this genius said. Right, cinema...hmmm, The Descent. DVD - Kung Fu Hustle should be out soon/now. Any old thing? Top Hat, Anchorman and Once Upon a Time in the West.

    Scream 3

Watching it on Channel 5 now and it's truly awful imo. I don't know if Wes Craven (as a Director), Neve, Courteney and David were contractually obliged to star in this movie, Wes is a great Director and the others are good actors playing good characters, but the supporting cast are dismal along...

Brokeback Mountain - Channel 4 Tonight!

I'm not sure what I think about this film. A friend of mine LOVES it and has raved about it for years. I saw it for the first time last year and liked it ok, but didn't like Heath Ledger very much, and I'm watching it now and finding him very irritating. I'd like it more if I could hear a damn...

George Lucas is detroying franchises. STOP HIM!!

Indy I agree with, but not Star Wars. People were screaming for the prequels (and sequels) for two decades. That it didn't out how we wanted is by the by, he delivered films that the public were asking for. There was no such request for Indy 4, and as far as I can tell, this is just kicking off...

Whats the best way to experience Blu-Ray??

Are you referring to the Sony KV-40XBR800? A 40" 4x3 HD CRT TV that was only available in the states (2002)? What's that got to do with the UK/European market? That set would have gone down a storm here - not. The UK had moved over to widescreen by then, where 36" was the largest CRT available.

Wow!!! I'm psychic - Emma Crosby lands job on BBC News Channel!!

Probably. I think she left CNBC in 2003? I remember reading it somewhere. It was before I started watching it anyway. I remember reading somewhere too (can't remember the website right now) that she went on CNBC US for a few weeks but then went back to CNBC Europe?

A History Of Horror With Mark Gatiss

Agree completely with both the above posts re BBC4. BBC4 became 'the new BBC2' a long time ago, and always seems to offer a veritable banquet of top programmes, prime examples at the moment being A History of Horror and Michael Wood's Story of England..
