If the kit is marketed for the bike you have then simply fitting it will not. It will change the geometry and make it quicker to steer and maybe a bit jittery and more prone to shake.

Bypassing it will not be easy as it will have been designed to make that difficult for obvious reasons. If you know where the unit and aerial is you could try shielding it with some aluminium cooking foil to alter its characteristics. A new battery in the remote might help as well.
