I don't think Blu-Ray will pick up as fast as DVD did. Its not such a big jump from DVD to BD as it was from VHS to DVD. DVD had advantages in better pictures, extra features, chapters, no need to rewind, possibly even the smaller packaging to store. BD adRAB to picture but when DVD is good...
