I don't think it is. I doubt you and your group of friends are going to stand in line to buy a $600 phone. Being a bunch of dorks with your friends (being 18 at the time) standing in line for a movie that was a big part of your childhood > iphone.

I personally wouldn't use anything but OEM batteries with my $750+ phone. It's up to you though.
