    Walmart Family Mobile smartphone

you're correct. I have a blackberry on WFM and the internet works fine you just need to use Opera. some of the applications won't work unless you use wifi. the facebook app is one of them..but you can access facebook through Opera and use it just as well. I use Google Voice through Opera all the...

Do You think Syndication will ever be a viable medium for animation again?

There doesn't seem to be a lot of scripted first run syndicated anything anymore. All I can think of is Legend of the Seeker. The Simpson, Family Guy, South Park and King of the Hill seem to do pretty great in syndication but they are also adult series. Networks and affiliates don't seem to...

    Opinions on Happy Tree Friends

It?s really their only hit, so they don?t have much choice in the matter. The series wasn?t mainstream enough to thrive on television, as I?ve said, but it?s rather popular amongst certain youths. I believe most of the people who registered on their forums back when I was moderator were...

Toon Zone Talkback - "Thundercats": A Critical Retrospective

I always found it hilarious that after the Circus Train episode, which was equivalent to dropping a train on all the sub-villains came "The Last Day", an episode with an utterly epic plotline to send out Mumm-Ra. If only that had been the last episode.

    Horror Cartoons, Can They Work?

Animated horror needs to be better at convincing and at shocking the viewer. Something like a facehugger in "Alien".

    2003 TMNT Utrom Shredder

Nowhere in the series do they ever state that Oroku Saki was a Battle Nexus champion, that is pure fanon. There is a statue that kinda looks like the Shredder if you just glance at it but closer inspection reveals it's just a dude in generic samurai armour. It doesn't even have the Shredder's...

Which American TV channel would be considered the biggest for animation?

Well...probably Cartoon Network, when they're not airing live-action... But really, they air all types of animation - comedy, action, children, adult, domestic, anime & other foreign shows. And they've made several of their own shows. Some are better than others, but still... Yeah...

Five plus hours of listening to Pocket Tunes....haven't had any need for longer than that.

    Alternative to Agendus?

I completely agree Moose. Agendus is more staight forward and IMHO more usable. I still don't like the upgrade charges but who would. Still worth the money! I just could never get used to Datebk5 or any of them for that matter. -CH

What constitutes as bad animation to you?

The thing that I would call bad animation if its badly animated, like the "flat" characters from Hanna-Barbara and flash animation done poorly. I bet none of you were able to sit through The Problem Solverz, that right there is badly animated. Also if it follows the same cliches on how terrible...

TMNT Back to the Sewer Talkback: Episode 7.12 "Super Power Struggle" (Spoilers)

No one needed to tell them. They were partnered with Playmates after all, and those guys were responsible for most of the series bad decisions. They should have assumed Playmates would screw them over yet again and thus prepare for the worst from the beginning of season 7. That's what I...

Data loss and backup card failure - any advice ??

Try moving the data from the SD card and onto a PC and then move it to another card and see if you can restore from that. You might have to go purchase an SD card reader for about $19 bucks but it may be worth a try?

FOX Talkback - Family Guy - "Believe It Or Not, Joe's Walking On Air" (Spoilers)

I must live in bizzaro world cause I loved last week and hated this week. All the self-referential crap didn't fly with me. Yeah Seth, we get the idea, you re-use voices and you use a lot of cutaways. Everyone was already aware of that, in fact other shows have already made much funnier jokes...

South Park - "Eat, Pray, Queef" - Talkback [4/1]

I... I... Where do I even begin? I don't know, so I'll just say this: that was unquestionably South Park's best use of live-action material ever. The "women in the workplace" photo montage backed by that song was the first thing in a long time to make me laugh tears.

Blog Talkback: Toons of the 2000s: Anime We Hope Never Come to America

I am very aware that certain parts of the internet may want my head on a pike now. I also find that hilarious, especially since they think it's purely a moral thing. I gave glowing reviews to Gunslinger Girl, Strawberry Marshmallow and Koi Kaze. It's not the morality, it's the quality and...

    Desire vs N1 - voice/upgrading?

I can half answer my own question. I was in a T-Mobile store today and had a play with the HTC Desire. It didn't have a Google account active on it, so I couldn't test any apps on it that control the LED. However, I did notice in one of the settings menus on the Sense UI that you can turn LED...

Is it possible to schedule a program to run at a certain time every day on an N95? I'd like to run MWeather to update itself and Mobizines to get new content. Can I set up some sort of cron job?
