Teen super heros of the 2000's trend

The thing I enjoyed most about American Dragon was the Jake/Rose story. How they meet, grow to like one another, and their secrets being outed to one another. One of my favorite examples of romance being handled in a superhero/action show, since they didn't rely on the whole 'hints and teases...

Is Flintstones as good as I remember it being?

Nothing is as great as any one remembers. If you get a great deal it is worth it

    Is ZLauncher the best launcher?

Thanks for the lead, cemuller. I did check them out. Please forgive me in my biased "contribution." 18 Launchers listed, and TealLaunch not amongst them. What a joke! Not your fault of course - thanks for the chance to cumulatively review several in one spot, but for them not to include...

    "Igor" - Talkback(Spoilers)

Which I find annoying. I mean, looking at the trailers, you can PLAINLY see how random, unrelated sentences were strung together in an attempt to make bad jokes. It's really quite pitiable.

Original animation openings vs. montage openings

I actually sort of liked the montage openings back in the day. It was sort of a way to tell whether or not you've seen all of the episodes. Also, some of the clips that were cut in the actual episodes sort of exist as odd curiosities, like the toilet scene in the Ren & Stimpy opening or the...

The return of "Sit Down, Shut Up" - Talkback

Eh, I would LOVE for that to happen but I doubt the ratings for this timeslot are that great. Especially considering the premieres of these new episodes aren't advertised at all by the network. Best Case Scenario for this series is Adult Swim picks it up for reruns and it will become a lot...

Blog Talkback: Toons of the 2000s: Top 25 Animated Television Series Countdown #5-1

Well, comedy dominated todays list. Robot Chicken-- Amusing to see toys, but kinda vulgar for my tastes. Flapjack-- Never watched. Futurama-- Ditto. Spongebob-- Hit or miss for me. Family Guy-- Kinda not funny.

What do I do now? (Boo hoo)

"sf" wrote in message news:[email protected]... Yeah. I just looked at my TV. It's not a flat one but the back of it does curve. I do have some things sitting on top, but not sure a bowl would sit there.

    Delgo

Something tells me those character designs would work better in traditional animation, as opposed to CGI/motion capture.

Blog Talkback: Toons of the 2000s: Anime We Hope Never Come to America

For contrast, I'll suggest something like Bakemonogatari. The fanservice is above and beyond what was necessary for a light novel adaptation; whatever was suggested in the source material, there's no need to highlight it so much in the animated adaptation. In your face, slow-mo panty shots...

FOX TALKBACK - Family Guy - "Peter's Daughter" (Spoilers)

Nice episode, glad the old "treat Meg like crap again" ending didn't play out. Coat Hanger gag was funny, the explosions rocked, although I was getting a bit motion sick toward the end. I felt satisfied when it was over.........over. ;) 4/5

    Sidekick Alternative

thanks everyone for the feedback. iPhone is out of the question. I need something that serves a a phone, not a media device that can also be used as a phone. A friend of mine has the version previous to the i760. I was checking out the i760 with him, that was one I was interested in. Also the...

    PDA Phones

Hey all, So I'm looking to get a new phone for my boss. Currently she's using a Treo 650, problem is it's a piece of crap (poor reception, technical failures, memory faults, etc). So here I am, looking for some advice. What I need to find is a phone that: Is a PDA, able to sync with a Mac...

Fido: Nokia 6126 vs Sony Z710i?

The z710i has a better camera and a better music player. It also has far better battery life. The Nokia has a better screen and cheaper memory. I'd go for the z710i between these two.
