They should never, ever remake this movie. There was some terrible, straight-to-TV remake done a couple of years ago that sucked supremely!

Dear Pony, I thought this thread has died, and yes Pandora's Box is brilliant. You may know it's been brought out on Region 2 DVD, which includes a very good 60min documentary on Louise Brooks. Well worth getting. As for Madame Sans-Gere, I'm afraid I can't help you. What about the 1925...

tried the view from above option when i watched the special edition. Basically it tells you what scenes are unique to the version you are watching.

Totally agree, I am not convinced by Swank although I thought she was better in Boys Don't Cry than Million Dolar Baby. And I felt really bad for Annette Benning who was excellent in American Beauty.
