Well, I say take an existing genre and put your own spin on it. thes what me and my Surf band do. Our influences include, blues, punk, reggae, techno, jazz, standarRAB, oldies... We add in a healthy dose of rock and roll to our instrumentals and the debate rages on what genre we really are...
