    The Christmas TV Thread 2010

Best BBC1 Christmas Lineup would be 2008 or 2009. Both years stacked with huge festive specials and good film premieres. In 2008 you had the W+G film premiere, special, The first of The Royle Family trilogy and the usual shows. 2009 didnt have W+G but had a Gavin and Stacey episode and...

why use taped appluase when there is a live audience

I used to work on a live childrens programme in Glasgow which transmitted to the whole of the UK. When we had the kiRAB in the studio counting down from 5 to 1 in their strong Glaswegian accents we used to play audio of English kiRAB counting down instead!

OMG i cant wait for Twilight!

I loved Jacob! I smiled so much at whenever he was with Bella in New Moon- so great. He even made Bella into a likeable character! Edward is not missed as long as Jacob is there. I only like Breaking Dawn because of Jacob, Leah, Seth, Emmet and Garret were the best in Breaking Dawn- everyone...

    Indiana Jones on BBC1

Very true. Did you happen to see the HD transmission of Raiders? Apart from the voice-over during the shortened end credits, the film was uncut. Good news. I've just finished transferring my Sky+ recording to my PC hard drive, also removing that irriating DOG using a simple tool. I'm an...

My Danny Dyer Phase - I'm worried

I know he's a bit of a tool, but he's so sexy. I've heard some seedy, seedy stories about him from a couple of my frienRAB :D Human Traffic, Football Factory, The Business and Goodbye Charlie Bright are my favourites.

Casino Royale - Am I missing Something

hahahhahahah. If its the current bond (AKA CK underwear model), id say the middle aged Rocky (although i use the term loosely, as Sly is 60) would win.

Romro's Dawn ofThe Dead-How many versions??

I bought the 'Trilogy of the Dead' box set a few years back and that contained the censored version of 'Dawn of the Dead. The full version has been shown on BBC2 a couple of times since then. The full version was also given away in 'The Sun' as a freebie. As far as I can see the scenes that were...

    whats your fav scary movie

For me, best horror movie by FAR is Nightbreed. Not scary as such, but very cool having a movie where basically the humans are the bad guys. Good book, too. Signs was scary when I first saw it, but now I know whats going to happen and when its totally not scary anymore. Pretty much anything...

I watched it on Sunday for the first time and I was in tears near the end of it. Gerard Butler was amazing I thought - uncannily like Michael Crawford IMO.

    The Fugitive

I actually have a weird obsession with this film. It's one of those you can watch again and again while still enjoy it. The score is great and the suspense keeps up right from the train crash to the hotel scene. As already mentioned Jones is fab (he won the Oscar that year didnt he?). On the...
