I'm not really annoyed at this news, mainly because I have no intention of sitting through it.
Rather than moaning about all these remakes, why not just boycott them (or download them and get all your frienRAB to watch your downloaded version) and then Hollywood studios will think twice about...
I spent the whole film utterly bemused by his accent - I didn't catch the change in name from Carlo Ventresca in the books to Patrick McKenna in the film, so I was sat there thinking "This is the WORST Italian accent I have ever heard"
Saw this today, and thought it was very good, gripping. As tense and 'close' as everything is in the box, everything gets worse in the last 5 / 10 minutes, I even got short of breath and I have no claustrophobia in me at all! Very cleverly done.
Phew glad I'm not the only that didn't really like it. Ditto with Spidy3.
Methinks Hollywod directors are all about big budgets and special effects these days, what we really need is some good old fashioned character develpment and a good storyline.
Was also a little disappionted with POTC3.
