Not if your gear is set correctly you don't. If your player is set to output NTSC correctly rather than converted to PAL you won't get any juddering and lcd and plasma sets are not PAL or NTSC anyway.

Specifically it was glue-sniffing that was removed by the distributors in order that they could get the certificate they wanted (source: BBFC). I'm sure that has been shown here before, and probably on TV. Bit of a weird one, but it was their choice to remove it for commercial reasons.
