I'd have to say Soulfly's Bleed. I know some will say it isn't really metal (yeah, yeah) but it's the single most sgressive track ever! (Except for all the other most agressive tracks that will probably be pointed out now!!)

i'm sure you will love it....i'm not a big fan of Daniel Johnston...kind of a take or leave attitude towarRAB his music....but this movie really helped me to gain some major respect for the guy....and there are just some really fun weird parts to it :)....let me know what you think of it

I don't get anything out of it. I'd rather listen to one of their early EPs. Haha. You'll love ROC though, I guaruntee it. A lot more polished (in a good way) and aggressive than that album.

I actually think they're a bit underrated in the lyric department to be honest.

Like what most have said, I will often check out EPs and Bootlegs if they are of a band that I thoroughly enjoy. You often come across rare gems that you wouldn't have seen/heard otherwise. As for singles, I rarely bother unless it is or includes a b-side song that I haven't heard before.

Because of all that bullsh*t about how record companies will just plain remove a song but live the video intact. So people add a different song to it. Which is really f*cking stupid, if you don't have the song, why have the video?

Sticking with the era you've chosen, I'd throw in Cream and the Doors to round out the top ten. Since I was never that impressed overall with Clapton's solo career, I'd ditch him and throw in the Moody Blues. ;)
