    Hi, I always cry when I watch Bridges of Madison County, especially the bit when Clint Eastwood is standing outside the truck in the rain and Meryl Streep is so close at opening the door. Everytime I watch it I keep hoping this time she will open the door :cry:

    That's why it's a 12A certificate. It means it's not suitable for those under 12. The 'A' part is that children under 12 may watch as long as accompanied by an adult (over the age of 18). The whole point is that it is up to parents to decide what is suitable for their own children.

    Doubt

    I watched this a few days ago and really enjoyed it. Fantastic performances from Meryl and Phillip. However, I was left wanting more at the end.

    Uncle Buck

    4 year old thread revived! Uncle Buck is a good little movie.Paper thin script,so it's a testament to the actors involved (especially John) that it's such an enjoyable little movie.

    no but it's being shown at the Natioanl Film Theatre in London at the moment as part of their Kubrick season. not sure if I will be able to watch it though
