How teenagers are represented in film

As much as I love those John Hughes teen comedies, if the rich vs poor divide didn't factor into the story, the main character was always from a very well off family. That seems to be a common trait for a lot of teen movies.

    requiem for a dream

    Scariest Film of all time

What's to understand? it's like an X-Files episode dragged out to feature length. It's based on a nonsensical book By John Keel which only gullible Yanks would ever believe is true. In a nutshell Richard Gere takes about 2 hours to solve a mystery which most of the audience probably figured out...

    Top 5 Over-rated movies

Oh thank god. I thought I was the only person who dosent think this is automatically the greatest film of all time... It is a good film, and in parts a vg film, but it is imo NOT a great film, a work of genius. Maybe if Orson Welles had directed it. But I found some of the scenes cinematically...

Blade Runner, 'best sci-fi of all time'

Blade Runner is possibly one of my all time favourite films. I can understand why people don't care much for it though but for me, it's the perfect film, its just breathtaking in it's design. Every time I watch it I discover something new about it, whether that's a beautifully designed detail in...

    The Last Exorcism

I thought it was really quite clever. The ending was alright. It came a little bit 'out of nowhere' but it was okay. Loved the way it was put together and seeing the way the lead character changed to explain what he did right at the end. Not really a 'scary' film as it's being billed though, but...
