Kind of avoided this one so far, but might have to check it out... If you're looking for a new decent horror/thriller, then try and get hold of a copy of 'Orphan' - Very dark, and somewhat disturbing in places.

Why is it that the villian in many movies kills everyone at random without blinking an eye, but when he meets the hero he just locks him in a room or ties him up ???

We can just picture you sitting in the cinema puffing on a cigar telling everyone.......its not as good as the original movie! I have the VHS at home. Then you get up and stroll out the cinema lol.

In the alternative ending that is apparantely what happens, the monster person sees the girl whose been healed, and they just take the girl and leave Will Smith!

Be prepared to sit through the whole of the end credits if you want any sort of paypack for having 2 hours of your life lost. There are some very good visual references in a couple of spots relating to the original TV cast, but that's about all that redeems the film from being a complete stinker.
