I have used NZB player but rarely bother these days. You only have to wait a few minutes for the file anyway. I usually then burn mine on Disc and watch on the DVD player.

Have you tried downloading it? If you connection is too slow for streaming I'm sure it would take ages, but you can just leave it downloading in the background. I think the BBC application lets you pause it as well, so you do it bit by bit over the next couple of days.
