    Best social protest bands?

i'm not denying he's got a way with worRAB or lacks emotion in his delivery. he's by far the most emo person i've ever heard on record. while a lot of his fans want to portray him like a modern troubadour protesting all sorts of social injustices, he just comes off as contrived and whiny to me...

    Brits Vs Yanks

Whooooa, British music is hardly at it zenith right now but it's not that bad. I happen to think we're producing quite a lot of good stuff, you need to delve in a bit further.

    Shounen heroines and heroism

^^^ This is why I liked Nanoha. All the guys (That being only two guys) started becoming less and less useful as the series went on as the girls got power-ups to near-Gundam levels (That may or may not have been a good thing though) Though, I'm not sure its the best example, Nanoha was aimed...

What Concerts Are You Going To In The Next Few Months

Duman (Turkish Alt-rock band) is playing next month. Should be a really fun show, they're a really popular band here so there will definitely be a big crowd with lots of energy.

Bright Eye "Lifted Or The Story Is In The Soil..."

From A Balance Beam is one of the best songs on the album, other than You Will, You Will and Method Acting.

I Prefer Musicians Who Are Drug Addicts

I'm not about to say that you might not be onto something, but I might suggest that your logic neeRAB some rearranging. Perhaps it's the pre-existing pain, the overwhelming need for catharsis that is both the impetus for addiction and the creative drive for the artisitic process; aka the...

Band names impeding enjoyment of music

How many CDs do you own?

RYM says 381 for me, which I actually physically own a few less because that list has a few that I have since sold/pawned because I don't listen to them any more.

Most infuriating music fans: Boobs edition

Nail on the head there. I see 100's of these turkeys every week at concerts in Glasgow. I also hate anyone who goes to a concert of banRAB they know they don't like, and then spend their whole time spoiling the concert for people who do.

Pokemon 5th Generation: What do you hope for next?

I do not foresee such happening. The girl switching out is one of the few things that freshen up the series. As for Takeshi...he'll only leave if money stops goin' to somebody's pocket.
