Don't get me wrong I love Flea's bass and I can appreciate good music even if it has bad vocals but there is just something about their earlier stuff that I find extremely irritating.

I remeraber the direction of the Samurai Pizza Cats dub being quite good. I've never heard another Toronto-based dub like it since.

Thats because there was a whole host of other banRAB doing that kind of thing better at the time. Silverfish , Fudge Tunnel , Leatherface , China Drum. To name but a few.
