Is the Red Dwarf movie still happening?

Does anyone know who's gonna be on the spines of the remaining DVRAB? Series 1: Rimmer Series 2: Holly (male) Series 3: Holly (female) Series 4: Kryten Series 5: Cat Now, there's 3 more series and I can only think there's Lister and Kochanski left. Have I had a complete brain meltdown or is...

    The Runaways

Just seen the film, thought it was very good overall. As its based on real events some of it was a little unsatisfying though. Both Kristin Stewart and Dakota Fanning's aciting was on top form, and I've not been a fan of either of them previously. Kristin seemed to completly embody Joan Jett...

moments in tv programmes that have made you cry

My TV moment that made me cry was in London's Burning, Sandra Hallam's reaction when she was told that John Hallam had died. In fact that whole storyline from when John fell from the gantry to his funeral was all very moving. Also, I almost shed a tear last night...... when Superintendent Adam...

Does anybody find Horror movies scary any more?

The Thing was probably the best Horror film of recent times, closely followed by The Fly. Japan now has the better releases for scares than the US/UK. Have a look at some of the 70's Hammer films for vampires, blood, and supernatural spooks, and of course the Dr Phibes pair of classics , for...

Martin Scorsese's The Departed. Who wants to see this.

Yes Casino is certainly not a classic, but streets ahead of most directors out there. One of the problems in gangs to me what his use of music, he is usally second to none in this department..see Goodfellas, but it spoilt the expereince for me before it even started .. one of the probelms there...

Can You Believe It?! Shrek 4!

Hmm...I'm not the greatest fan of the new trend for on-going franchises in cinema; I think by the third film most of the jokes will have become stale - even the Shrek 2 trailer hints at the formula that the sequels will follow (Donkey says something along the lines of: "Me and Shrek, off on...

    The Keep:Should it be re-made?

Not really Zombies, to be fair. Mann went for a more mysterious entity being held inside the keep. In fact, the original novel it was based on was called more of a 'nazi's vs vampires' story rather than zombies.

Slumdog Millionaire - What a wonderful film

Just got back from seeing it - incredible film. I didn't think I'd like it but it blew me away. I was completely immersed throughout the entire duration. It was funny, bleak, frightening, shocking but ultimately uplifting. I'm not ashamed to say the climax had me in tears of joy. All the...

    Sweeney Todd

I saw the film over a week ago and still can't stop thinking about it - I'd like to see it again, or at least get the soundtrack. I thought it was really funny, clever, well acted/sung, and only a *little* bit gross - I might have looked away once! :p Also, ITA about JD sounding like Bowie - I...
