I'd just eliminate the obvious if you haven't already. Plug other stuff into the Psyclone box the Wii was using or plug the Wii straight into the TV and see if it does it. If it does then it might be the Wii since you have other shit hook in that runs fine. So it can't be the TV.

I can't confirm any of that as I am on Cingular, but I have figured out how to get full res 320x240 video on my E62 that is fairly crisp and looks Great. I encode them in DivX with some unique settings and they work great.
