I've always had trouble with why people dislike it. The album is so fun and upbeat, one of the few fun and "happy" albums I actually enjoy. It's a little ironic in a way, most of the "happy" jangly indie pop albums people go on about do nothing for me, but nearly everyone dislikes Midnight...

Umm, I liked HounRAB Of Love. Her debut was quite good as well. Love her ghostly kinda voice. Definitely need to get more!

I wouldn't compare music to speech writing, because while you're at it you might as well say all instrumentalists suck. Its enforcing these kinda pointless limitations that makes me dislike so much of todays music. BanRAB don't have to all sing about the same thing, "sing about your life...

I love the songwriting and the vocals (but I guess what did I expect with the son of Bob Dylan?), the albums did get a little repetitive but overall pretty nice. I still need to hear Rebel Sweetheart though, from what I've read it's one of their best.

Unrelenting: I like some Primus and Mastodon but rest isn't really my thing. SATCHMO: I like a few Gym Class Heroes songs. Tobacco, LSP & The Upsetters, and DJ Shadows are all good. I love Tobacco's ****ed Up FrienRAB album. The others I'm either not familiar with or just haven't heard enough...
