You could include the Jaws franchise in a horror thread. Dont forget the Dr Phibes movies, they still stand up today for the inventive ways of despatching somebody. and then there are the Godzilla (Godzirra:D) classics.

Saw 6 is the last one, definitely. After 3 came out they said they were gonna do 4, 5 & 6 and that was it. Whatever, 6 better be better than 5 or else why even bother?? OK, 5 wasn't totally devoid of any good scenes, but they couldn't make the story interesting or make us care about, well...

The 'The Thomas Crown Affair', and the famous McQueen/Dunaway "chess seduction" scene , with the quizzical jazz tones is quite seductively playful, and works well I think.

Me too. According to Wikipedia, the film had to undergo a few changes after it kept getting rated R in America, so I'm hoping the DVD will provide us with a bit of new material to add to the story and flesh it out a bit more.

A lot of what goes on in fairy stories is heavy, you just don't see it. This is one for adults, so you see it. Slumdog is a total chick flick.

I didn't use it too much either (or not as much as I do with torrents now), but I do have good memories of downloading music using Kazaa at a cafe :happy: 56K home transfer speeds just didn't cut it.
