Who's the Mel Blanc of today?

If the pole were widened, it would have to be a toss-up, between Frank Welker and Jim Cummings. Now, for all the cartoon characters that Mel Blanc has voiced, Frank Welker as both Barney Rubble and Dino, Jim Cummings as Taz, but for the others, Jeff Bergman(he's recently returned to voice Bugs...

Toon Zone Talkback - E3 2010: Avi Arad Developing New "Pac-Man" TV Show

Apparently. Such a shame though. I was expecting something like New Super Mario Bros. Wii or Sonic 4, going back to your roots or something. I'll probably give it a shot, since it sounds like something from the 80's and those things are good for me in cheese department.

What is your favorite animated romance in the last ten years?

^ Jack and Carly! It's definitely one of my more favorite couples, and I love how their personalities are so different, yet it works. But what they feel for each other is really unclear in later episodes after the dark signers, so I don't know if they're a 'couple'. (but still...) Another...

Cartoon moments: Getting crap past the radar

This isn't so much "inappropriate" as "unusual to hear in a children's cartoon", but I have another example from Powerpuff Girls... In the episode "Super Friends", the girls make friends with a girl named Robin. At one point, they get into a conversation with her about their creation and...

Blog Talkback: Toons of the 2000s: Top 25 Animated Television Series Countdown #5-1

    - Gundam 00: Was an okay series that had its moments, but no quite so sure if its Top 25 worthy. - Samurai Champloo: Same deal, but maybe less iffy. Some really memorable episodes, but some downright forgettable ones, too. - Phineas and Ferb: Very fun series. Has a great concept and many...

Best phone with built in GPS?

You can go both ways, get a cheaper phone and add on GPS or get it built-in. I chose the latter, and bought the HTC P3300. The comparable models to this would be ETEN X500, N95(although the GPS on it sucks), and I guess 6110. I personally liked P3300 because it was compact and it was quadband...

    Onion in water and vinegar

The japanese have a technique for chopping finely an onion, soaking it in water and then adding a little something (rice vinegar, i think); and it produces a pleasent mild tasting onion for adding to salads. It's actually so good and so mild that they do an onion salad which consists of 'just'...
