Hi, finally resolved this issue - I did a factory_data_reset. This did not remove the new OS, just rest all settings to default, presumably. I'll have to import all my contacts again. BUT the main thing is that SMS now works! And even better the phone is now on Froyo 2.2 which seems to work...

Have a G37 which has in-car bluetooth. My HD2 connects to the system with no problem, I can play pandora via bluetooth or connect phone to the USB dock in the car and play all music. Android is constantly loosing connection to bluetooth and will not recognize the media on the SD Card to play...

No 3G for the UK iPhone though, which is going to be a big deal over here I think.
