That is exactly what I thought - bring it back to a more recognisable world to the audience. I think this would be really powerful as we are gradually progressing to a stage of artificial intelligence so to show the devastating effects it can have would be a really powerful film.

GUNDAM WING?! Somebody report this grave mistake on the double! Char is from Mobile Suit Gundam.

I guess we'll have to wait and see when the film comes out I'm sure film goers will understand the need to keep the name for historical accuracy, I'm not expecting mass riots or protests. The Passion of the Christ or Da Vinci Code were more controversial and they passed off without incident...

Alas, Parcum constantly exhibits his narrowly patriarchal rote-learned stupidity.

"hey thats VoR 558 phase 2- he's really pushing' the outside of the envelope on that one! " Pudknocker

I understand where you're coming from, but even groups who should sound good live, like Dave Matthews or someone like that, still sound like ass to me when their live performance is broadcast on TV.

Well, I wish I'd gotten the chance to see it. Our 2 local cinemas (both big ones!) took it off after about a week  So, now I'm waiting for Gran Torino & will have to see it in it's first week or I won't get to see it at all.

Mike Patton kills most singers mentioned in this thread.

Its the fact that KR dies right at the start - start point in time - that enables them to catch up with eachother. In the 'original' timescape he dies and therefore his time no longer continues, so there are not two of him. SB in a sense, looks back over the last two years of his life (obviously...

SounRAB like your last nays after the second run seems to be a jump into falsetto. If it is its close and has some good resonance for a falsetto note. This would certainly address your concerns. If your voice breaks from chest to head then its just simply tension and or a lack of practice in...

Well I believe Horror Channel WILL show Scream and Jeepers Creepers - but probably not until 2034. However they're bound to show Shriek! and Creepy Jeepers - the straight-to-video versions starring some Z-list wannabes and directed by the second cousin of someone who once made tea on a film...

Lol! No way on this Earth can you judge an entire film from just 2 minutes.Really rare imo.

Halle Berry has said that she would love to part out of X Men 3 because her character, Storm, has been given a stronger story line. "I love Storm," Berry said. "And it would be the last one, so I'd love to be a part of the end of the trilogy." So we maybe seeing in the third film!

In the meantime, do I get some kind of an award for being the oldest PF fan here?

The 2003 version is closer to the spirit of the book, which I feel the 1953 version totally fails to capture. Don't get me wrong, the 1953 version is lovely in its own right but Disney adapataions have always been vastly different from the source material.

A phone always goes off when I'm at the cinema I find it annoying but the worst incident was when one went off 10 mins into LOTR: The Two Towers. I expected the guy to be embarrassed and switch it off but he answered it and started a very loud conversation explaining what he was seeing and what...

That's a tricky question. By everyone else's standarRAB, probably yes. But Herzog himself claims it is in no way a remake, as he hasn't seen the original, and he gets quite cross when people say it is. I'm in two minRAB. I like Herzog, but I hate Cage. On the other hand, I thought the Ferrara...

Uncle Luke - Raise the Roof

I did 'women in horror films' for my coursework. Well I narrowed it down to a specific actress - Sarah Michelle Gellar. For example, a stereotypical representation of women is that the good looking ones get killed off like SMG was the damsel in distress and killed off in both Scream 2 and I Know...

I was'nt born when the orignal star wars was released :( but I have seen all of the films and I am very looking forward to Revenge of the Sith.
