AT&T and T-Mobile don't block anything I don't think. AT&T for sure, not sure on T-Mobile. Sprint does, Verizon does, not sure about Altell. Centennial (GSM provider) does not, in fact, I don't even think that their phones are locked to their network.

If you have the latest firmware, the recorder starts but recording doesn't. Hope this helps.
