I think I remember that blonde lady singing at the beginning and end is called 'Vitamin C'.

I saw this movie last week when i was in New York and thought it was ace. It passed so quickly (which is a sign of a good movie). The only downside i thought was the airplane wasn't used to the best it could have been.

they toured with this band called Day One Symphony.. that band was and is AMAZING.. they're like radio head mixed with coldplay mixed with dredg or something.. they're really atmospheric and chill, but complex at the same time, and the singer is awesome.

I was disappointed as well. Looked like a cartoon to me and the performances were weak.

First one's a classic. "Remake"? Are you sure? Or is it a sequel but centred around two girls? Why would they want to remake a film that's barely 10 years old? Bloody hell the worlRAB gone mad *implodes*

Unfortunately it's mostly the other way around. A movie doesn't seem that good the second time you see it. The cases where I found it better second time round was that I just got older or my tastes changed. Remember seeing 2001 - A Space Odyssey when I was 16 and was bored stiff. When saw it...

i think my view of Shawshank Redemption is more controversial and that is that I didn

why dont they get along? Bill Murray has been very grumpy and has a big ego, thats obvious... but id love a CGI film...

That's fair - I shouldn't have said not to watch it, but the remake is almost a shot for shot copy. I think they claimed it was as a tribute to Hitchcock or something. Unfortunately - for me - the remake lacked the atmosphere of the original and I couldn't really see the point of it.

so can we like, try to do a 2007 year best of .rar like we did in july?

"The Scrimshaw Pirates," hasn't been commissioned yet, it's in development with Kudos. IIRC the news reports about it last year were that it was being developed not commissioned. Big projects like Merlin and the forthcoming Outcasts are usually in development for 2 years before hitting the screens.
