Just come back from seeing it for the second time tonight :D and I have to say that the last 20 minutes made a lot more sense and had a lot more impact the second time. Even Snape's "I am the HBP" came across better, still think that scene needed a few more lines though and maybe some kind of...

There's no point in doing that at all - the process priority is automatically set to low so it will never harm your gaming performance. The folding program never uses CPU cycles if there is another program needing them. It also uses at most 10MB of RAM, so it's not going to clog up your memory...
