    The Aussie Rock thread

I've been listening to a lot of this stuff over the last few days, i.e stuff from the 70s/80s rock scene like the Saints, Celibate Rifles, Died Pretty and Radio Birdman. Any other fans out there who could point me in the direction of some good albums perhaps?

    Game Music

Music is critical to some games though I often find myself listening to my own music in the background. Nevertheless, check out my Michael Hoenig thread. His BG1/2 soundtracks were fantastic.

    Best DBZ movie (and why)

FUNimation didn't have the cash at the time to license the movies all by themselves and Saban had no input into the movie dubs (aside from the TV version of Tree of Might), so I would imagine Pioneer helped out a bit, hence why they actually had accurate scripts, original music, and the Japanese...

I was planning on getting all 3 FFD today but my local indie only had the live 4 track EP so I had to settle for that and I'm not paying high street prices so they ordered them for me.

Right, let's see if we can't drum up a bit of interest in the next trade eh. I'm still due a word or two on the album I got from this one, so I'll see if I can start it sometime around Wednesday. Needless to say, I'll be taking part in the next one, and I've already had a PM from...

    59. The Fiery Furnances "Gallowsbird's Bark" I had heard Tropical Ice-land and thought it was a nice song, she had an amazing voice and the music was beautiful. I put off checking them out for a long time, but I noticed the album in a record store and thought 'What the hell? I have the cash'...

HEY NOOBS! Want a band or song recommendation? Don't start a new thread post here

Explosions In The Sky is pretty dynamic and isn't boring whatsoever. GoRABpeed is pretty good as with Mogwai, 65daysofstatic, Stereolab and others. But their music isn't nearly as brilliant as Explosions. I'm really getting into rap and hip-hop as of late, but most of my stuff is pretty...

You also can't hate the Clavinette solo that the "devil" plays, which is admittedly my favorite of the two.
