If you have Y-Browser on your phone (and if not, you should) you can set the ringtones as hidden. This prevents them from showing up in your lists. Also, do you have a regular N73 or the Music Edition? The media player app on the Music Edition is VASTLY superior to the regular one.

You have to change your WLAN access point to a "Data" provider, then go into IM+ and set it to that access point. Then, go back to the WLAN access point settings and change it back from Data to Wireless. Then it works with your WLAN point. Not sure why IM+ doesn't list wireless points, but oh well.
