V802SE is the only SE phone with Jap characters useable in the west. You can try and find a Chinese one which has funky characters on the keys... I can't seem to find W900i with Chinese though, however Chinese firmwares exist for both and can be flashed onto the phone.

It can take advantage of wifi, but doesnt have a cell signal. No extra fees.
