Anyone like Shamrain? I discovered them on Last Fm.

Man, I haven't bought or downloaded any albums for a while now. I guess the last one I downloaded was an album by Bullet for my Valentine. I can't remeraber which album it is but I love it. Listen to it all the time.

Wow. This is almost badass.

I know I sure am.

Whenever I use the radio, I turn the scrobbler off. If I find a band I like, I'll go DL an album and then I'll scrobble it from my media player. also, there's this really annoying problem with BOC radio, as there are several banRAB called Clark, and I always seem to get a folk artist instead of...

8_Ke4DLgZhk You just can't not love a bit of Los Lobos eh :D

Yeah, but then you aren't really helping the community. You should probably strive to keep a s/l ratio of at least 1. Either way, you encrypt yourself so your IP doesn't know you are DLing from torrents. Second of all if you are really that scared join a good private community. The only problem...

'Like MinRAB' - Corea, Burton, Holland, Haynes, Metheny... fanastic.

What part, exactly, of Brian's work, is better than Barrett's? The lyrics and structures in Brian's songs, even in their "best" work, Pet SounRAB, are far, far less innovative and diverse than Gates of Dawn, or even Barrett's solo albums.

They were good, now they are c*ck w*nk. Bring back Dookie.

that would be bone machine.. Earth Died Screaming and All Stripped Down are awesome tracks off of that album.

Someone already mentioned them, Altan is a great Irish folk band... I'd start with "The blue idol", great album. Fave song: "Caide Sin Don Te Sin" from the "Runnaway sunday" album, soothing vocals, good production, great lyrics, and overall beautiful song.

completely varies for me. At times I love really interesting indie/folk songs, usually go for artists with a bit of a quirky voice or something else really unique. If I'm on an electronic kick then I look for something more pop-sounding with a great track and a mix of musical influences...

Elliot Smith-Either/Or After listening to it 3 times today and on the 4th.

Haha I agree. I actually did love and still love the first Weezer album (although people made fun of me for that even in 1994) I always wondered what exactly motivates that guy. He's definitely got a knack for making rock songs - but why does he do it that way?

all of emm

You obviously have'nt been paying enough attention to my threaRAB then :D
