    The dumbest toon parents

I suppose South Park counts as a show that's "focusing on the children", so i might as well give a mention to the parents in that one.

American Dad - "Brains, Brains and Automobiles" - Talkback [10/18]

I also feel like this episode was written by the Family Guy writers, but for the opposite reason. This episode was actually funny, unlike most American Dad episodes. Anyway, what the hell happened to the Steve subplot? We see the other boys carry them towards the girls' cabins and it just...

Is Stripperella considered a Marvel character? (Answer: No)

It has absolutely nothing to do with Marvel and was made by Stan Lee's production company. The show was also made years after Stan worked for Marvel, as even a spokesman. I believe he'd even done some stuff at DC by this point.

Cartoon Characters Heard On The Radio

One local radio station I used to listen to regularly incorporated snippets of South Park vocal tracks. Their evening show would regularly use a recording of Stan's "It's 8 o' clock!" ever weeknight at 8PM, as well as Sheila Brovlovsky's "What-what-WHAT??", both from the season 1 episode "Death".

    Characters with bad tempers

The first character I thought of was Gruffi from The Gummi Bears which is odd since I haven't seen the show since The Disney Afternoon. I don't even remember if he had a huge temper but he just seemed grouchy all the time. Wolverine is temper incarnate. So is Vegeta.

    Alpha and Omega

It doesn't look theater worthy and it doesn't look like it's breaking new ground anywhere but it doesn't look like the worst thing in the world. I don't recall having to groan once throughout the trailer. I'll reserve my hate for something else (like Marmaduke for instance).

Toon Zone Talkback - "Rango" Brings Back the Oater in Rugged Style

I really like this movie. But I, too, was shock of how edgy and grim the movie was. There were no cute and cuddly characters, and the actual furred ones are all gritty. Heck, one of them had an arrow stuck IN HIS HEAD! That may be the problem for some. It's funny, but some visual content was...

POLL: Meg Griffin: Writer's Hate Figure?

That makes sense. The writing staff of "Family Guy" has always looked for the easy way out ever since they got renewed. The Season 4 episode "8 Simple Rules for Buying My Teenage Daughter" was the last episode of "Family Guy" I ever watched, and one of the reasons it drove me away from the...

    Character Derailment

Well, sometimes really stupid people just make really rash, stupid decisions. Luanne was such a brainless dumbass that abandoning college to go and do hair again didn't seem like a big deal to her, even if it was completely asinine and brought the character back to square one. There are people...

    Do you hate it when...

Yeah, I think that was for The Bill Engvall Show. He would pop up in the corner with a remote and, like you said, "pause" the show to advertise his own. I think it usually happened as the show was about to fade out to a commercial, but regardless, it was highly annoying. I think it only lasted...

Animated characters who disappear with no explanation

They still do appear in background shots from time to time, but yeah, there really wasn't any explanation of, say, why the Simpson family doesn't go to Hutz anymore, and instead goes to the Blue Haired Lawyer, someone who has previously worked against them. Another one is the Laura Powers...

Original animation openings vs. montage openings

Hands down, original animated openings. Clip montages are more of a fan's thing I mean they fit on YouTube rather than Television. Also, why can't U.S. Networks use theme songs by actual bands or singers for their animated shows?

Why is it so rare for a cartoon to exceed 100 episodes?

Beavis and Butt-Head did 200 episodes during it's run, I'm talking about segments not the whole show here.

Why hasn't American Dad caught on?

Probaly because it's even worse than Family Guy.

HTC Registry Edits for more features? (Panoramic Camera?)

Well, if there can be trial apps that only work x amount of days, there has to be somewhere they can hide data.
