Family Guy - "Family Goy" - Talkback [10/4]

How is that a parody, or even funny? All they did was replace the Superfriend characters with the family guy characters (Except the Meg part). The whole thing is just a copy/paste of the original Superfriends opening just with characters swapped, anyone can come up with a "characters swapped"...

Blog Talkback: Toons of the 2000s: Top 5 Animated Features

WALL-E and Spirited Away are the only two movies that I have seen. I like WALL-E, but Spirited Away was just to darn freaky for me.

    Best and Worst Animated Sequels

I remember hearing about John Rolfe being a tobacco farmer. That definitely wouldn't have passed family/parent standards, especially for a Disney movie. Yeah, either John Rolfe or John Smith apparently saw Pocahontas as something other than a savage heathen. That's really not something they want...

What can be done to improve the status of Animation in the U.S?

Actually, Japan is more into adult animation I think. More adult manga and a heck lot more sexual references.

    Worst episode titles for cartoons?

No, they mixed anti-freeze with the wine and made Bart taste it. Though the title is still all-right because Bart was in France, where crepes originated and are still popular.

    Battle of the 90's cartoons

I have a hard time deciding. I watched almost nothing but Disney cartoons in my early childhood (early to mid '90s). In 1998 I became a huge Rugrat fan and watch everything on Nick religiously. CN has always been something I watched every now and then during the '90's.

Should they make a cartoon based on the "Pearls Before Swine" comic?

Well, considering that the recent track record for turning comic strips into cartoons hasn't been all that great (Dilbert and Baby Blues weren't exactly screaming successes), maybe he should take it slow.

    Marge Simpson in....Playboy!?

I remember back when Rolling Stone had that pic of Bart re-enacting the cover of Nirvana's Nevermind, there were two versions, one with genitalia, and one without. I've seen both thanks to Google Image Search.

Okay, that's your problem. You read Wikipedia. Any wackadoo could edit Wikipedia. I should know, I've contributed an article or two. But just as people could put accurate articles on the site, they could also put totally wrong articles on the site. If there has been scarce news about a...

    Voice Dialer...What's the Point?

At least it answers incoming calls without me needing to actually touch the phone itself (good for driving). I still can't believe that initiating the call using voice dialing actually requires more work than just going to the contacts and picking the contact to call manually. Doesn't make any...

4Kids Talkback: The Crossroads of Destiny - The 4Kids Discussion V10

I said this on the anime version of the thread and I'm repeating it here for emphasis: 4kids needs to do some grand experimenting and find something. I can't repeat this enough: they need VISION. They need to find something that hits resonantly with their target audience, whatever the target...

    HTC sends a C&D? WTF

If find it a bit odd that: a) It's not a signed for or otherwise recorded letter. I can't speak for the US, but here in the UK legal documents like that are hand delivered by either a courier, the police, or other such legal personnel, and you always have to sign for them. b) It's sent as an...
