I like to think of myself as a learning historian, primarily in the field of classic animation. I quite enjoy sharing my knowledge with others, and that encourages me to learn even more.

VV Argost: (Secret Saturdays). I'm always a fan of villains with good publicity and he knew how to use it. He had a great voice and an even greater secret. Agent Bishop: (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2003) The turtles cartoons always seem to have problems when it comes to original villains...

I'm glad to hear than an agreement has been reached. I don't think I could picture a new cast doing the voices... unless they were perfect sound-a-likes.

I think people are too hard on the writers. It takes a team to make an episode, and even though the writers are responsible for a lot of the stuff, I think it’s unfair to throw them under the bus each time an episode fails to entertain. Besides, scripts have to be approved before they are...

You know what would have been perfect? If at the end they had said "What happens next? Find out... in 200 more episodes!" :p

I'm surprised that nearly 20 years later, there are still some people who never sat down and watched through B:TAS, especially with how much praise it gets. Its understandable that new younger generation of kids never saw it because they're too young, but I imagine most cartoon (or action...

I, unfortunately, don't have screencaps for these two shots I like so I'll have to describe them - but they aren't really that whacky so your aren't missing much. However, if anyone has screenies of them I'll gladly give you an Internet! :) I love the shot in Shrek where after leaving Donkey...

The Simpsons - "The Squirt and the Whale" - Talkback [4/25] Hmm, I might have to give this one a watch later, it seems to have gotten rave reviews from the likes of IGN, and some are calling it the best of the season. It almost makes me regret my choice of playing Super Mario RPG on my Wii...

There are alarm clocks that will play MP3 for the alarm. But I don't know of any way of changing normal PIM alarm sounds, other than GeekSounds. :(

Well, this one is a stretch but Maddie Blaustein voiced Dr. Kureha, and she used to be a guy. Even though she was technically a female when she voiced Dr. Kureha, her voice didn't seem to change too much.

Any evidence of this?

That... thing, was from season 19.

Hello PalmTealLover, I don't think we're advocating a remove of the Desktop and HotSync. If I understand correctly, its the need to transfer items to/from a PC that doesn't have the desktop and HotSync installed. I'm not aware of any software that "replaces" hotsync for the other "conduits"...

How come you bring this up if you're not even sure how you'd go about ranking anime yourself? Something that ranks in a Top 20 list has to be both consistently high quality and massively popular or influential? What's wrong with just ranking it based on how well executed or written it is? I'm...

actually to my knowledge it ended Juniper Lee and LOSH because they had so much potential in the later seasons (Though June lasted longer)

I don't think that's true. For instance, Fox released/is releasing specials for Prison Break and It's Always Sunny... on Blu-ray despite the fact that Fox hasn't released a season of Prison Break in high-def since S1 and there haven't been any It's Always Sunny... HD releases at all. I think...

Absolutely outstanding. This season was amazing and surprising and hilarious. Not only that, but it was full of variety as well. Every episode had something memorable and different. The episode? Loved it. Stan and Kyle have another solid episode under their belts. Wendy's back (about time...

Rankin/Bass's The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus, a stop-motion special from 1985, based on the story by L. Frank Baum. I love how surprisingly dark this one is, and for some reason it hasn't been given a DVD release yet. Good thing I'll always have my old VHS copy, as well as the airings on...

Heh, Mind Quad.
