I very rarely download any music, except sometimes just a track or two to help determine if a cd is worth buying. I find that after actually shelling out cash for a cd, I'm more motivated to give it a proper listen. Plus, I like reading the liner notes of the album and looking at the artwork...

Yeah, as an adult I'm not really a fan of those prog-style album covers (though I think anything can be done well in the hanRAB of the right designer). Some of my favorite covers are fairly simple, such as:

Music is a passionate subject, if someone feels your music taste is shit. They'll have a go a bit, they'll try and be diplomatic and polite about it. But fun and wild discussions can get heated.
