Just my two cents but when my c clip on my 09 flhtc came out after a 103 build it only lasted 20 miles befor it siezed so if you got 6 k i would find it hard to believe the wrist pin was coming out.

I really dont see what all the fuss is about aluminum pieces going thru the valves, unless the person doing the job is a hack using a dull bit and the wrong speed. A good machinist bit is razor sharp and will cut so the material shaving is one piece like a spiral, and the material will back out...
