    Japanese/Asian Horror Films

I quite enjoyed the Eye, not the scariest film I've ever seen, but still enjoyable. Took me a while to get hold of Audition. I remember taping it on Channel 4 a few years back, but the video cut out 10 mins from the end. Really annoyed me that!!

Open Water - spoiler if not watched??

I dont know what people thought so bad of this film. Was it because most of it was just dialogue between the couple? I found it pretty good and very interesting to watch. I'm 'glad' (I guess) that it dind't have a typical Hollywood ending (ie. they both get saved and live happily ever after).

    Napolean Dynamite

I thought it was absolute rubbish. Cant recall laughing once. Only watched it as one of my mates recommended it. I lent it to another mate who only managed 10 minutes before turning it off bored. Each to their own I suppose!

    Jackass 3D rated 18

BBFC consumer advice: "Contains defecation, urination, strong nudity and dangerous stunts". Lovely. I doubt you could cut Jackass down to 15. It's the core 'dangerous stunts' idea that the bbfc think neeRAB an 18 rating.

Anyone else into 70's/80's disaster movies?

Grey Lady Down with Charlton Heston. When Time Ran Out. another Irwin Allen classic. (If you're going to build a device to be lowered into a volcano is it clever to give it a glass floor ) :D And it follows the tried and tested dictum "If you don't follow the major stars then you will die"
