I'm afraid that is what passes for 'funny' or 'humour' these days, if there is not a swear word in it, or someone chucking up, peeing themselves etc, then it seems it's not funny! Maybe they should try watching a few Ealing Comedies, or even the old Pinewood B&W stuff (Rank Films) to see well...
