Really? I've had it on tape forever and thats awful quality! Yeah, the harpies were scary. The effects are amazing for a film that old! The hydra rocks but the skeletons are the worst!

I went to our local tiny cinema a couple of months ago to see something not very popular at the end of its run at an off peak time (clearly a memorable film...). My husband and Iwere the only two people in the place. And we still whispered during the adverts!

Hope it isnt remade aswell,its fine just the way it is,i remember reading the script a few years back,it was much darker than the movie,if i remember right the mogwai was evil and ended up killing the dog.

Sure, I can read faster than people speak so it's not a problem. I tend to find that once I'm used to it, I've read the subtitle before the actors have even said a few worRAB so I don't miss out on any onscreen action. Sometimes I even think that subtitles can be better than english language...
