Absolutely agree with you. I watched CR for the first time last week, and was so engrossed in it, was gutted when it ended! Really looking forward to QoS and I thought Daniel Craig was superb as Bond.

Probably the best thing about TDK is how Nolan had the balls to give Eckhart's Harvey Dent such a huge role when a simple Batman vs Joker thing would have been where 99% of writers/directors would have gone with it. I thought it was so great in the way it encapsulated everything about Batman...

I almost gave up on the film in the first thirty minutes or so, but it was a corker. I do like that 'lightning gun'. :D I'm not sure why, but the film worked well.
