    T4 Rumors -

Does anyone have any "testing information" on whether our current apps work in Cobalt or if we'll need 42,000 upgrades for compatibility? If everything needs a tweak I'll almost certainly give it a pass - if 90% of them are okay, I'll try cobablt. I'm hopeful the digitizer "1/16" nightmare" is...

    Cartoons: What changed?

Your Goosebumps example killed the entire argument, since that was the 90s Goosebumps. A newer series was never made. And no one thinks those ideas in the 90s were wrong...it's just that many of the creators of todays cartoons grew up in the 70s or 80s, and like to bring those ideas back.

Jim Carrey and Steve Carrell in...Horton Hears a Who

CGI vs. 2D debate aside, that is definitely about as good as a CGI Seuss movie can possibly look.

Antagonist / villains that steal the show

Prime Evil from Filmation's Ghostbusters As much as I liked the Ghostbusters to me Prime Evil was the star of the show and I loved his interaction with Bratarat. To me he just stoled the show. *Before someone posts FGB sucked this is my opinion only.*

20 Animated Films Submitted to Oscars; 5 Nominations Seem Likely

The idea of Fantastic Mr. Fox getting a nom is an eye-roller. Looks absolutely awful. Wouldn't put it past the academy to nominate it, though, in the name of "diversity" (it being created by a method diverse from CGI or hand-drawn - stop-motion), but I think the general public won't love it...

The "why hasn't this ended yet" Thread

I can understand why kids watched Scooby-Doo back in the 60's/70's when there was literally nothing else to watch, but with cable channels offering dozens upon dozens of better animated programs, I can't figure out why they're still shoving Scooby down our throats. Even as mindless nostalgia...

    Android versions

Android Honeycomb should require a 1Ghz CPU and 512MB of RAM. Your applications that work with 2.1, 2.2, 1.6, etc - will function on Honeycomb. But applications designed for Honeycomb won't work on older versions of the OS.

Dante Basco to voice Zuko in an online "Zutarian Finale" project

..uh-huh. WOW. Shippers, they're so crazy... Also, I'm not sure Dante Bosco might not have really agreed to this, they might just be saying that he is. I don't know, part of this just doesn't sit well with me.

Day 1: Mobile Suit Gundam - Crossfire

College, FFXII, and Resistance keep me generally occupied. I picked up Crossfire for 20 bucks on Ebay. I'm not complaining... really. The graphics are sub Chrome Hounds. For a mech game, Chrome Hounds had some amazing visuals. Gundam is also slower than what you're used to watching on TV. I...

Messages on phone vs memory card

I also ran into that hickup. With S60v1 & v2 phones you could always delete the \system\mail folder on either the phone or the memory card and you'd be set. With S60v3 that's not so easy. I found the mail folder on the memory card but only when I use my memory card reader. It was located at...
