i think it only goes up to *22807, but i'm not 100% on that. 01 and 02 are for 800 MHz (Cricket is all 1900MHz) so try 03,04,05,06,07

Good idea. While you're at it, you may just want to update the phone's firmware. You can get it it from UTStarcom's website. I would do this even if your software was up-to-date. Something in the system's firmware may be corrupt.
