If you're deciding between the k750i and the k790a, I would recommend the k790a. The improvements on the k790a, in my opinion, are worth the wait.

Your right but you can gain root access and still remain stock. It's a good chance that if its accomplished they would make it into an app. If so, it might not require root but it likely will need to be rooted.
