Yes Sportsnet does a real good job with their baseball coverage. The only thing I don't like is that they will never show another game while the Jays are playing. Can't blame them since they own the team. Having MLB Extra Innings would correct that.

They probably don't know that Seattle @ Arizona is not in hd. Would not this game be more appropriate for the West and Pacific feeds, as this game will be on the Seattle Fox channel. On game day they might switch to the hd game for the hd channel, somewhere in the 2nd quarter.

I tried to subscribe to Extra Innings today, but the CSR had no idea what I was trying to order. Even after explaning a couple of times that this was a new extra cost sports package, the CSR couldn't help me. I'll try again next week.

Bell TV is denying us TCM which in my opinion is one of best channels in North America. Other Canadian providers have offered this channel for at least two years.

You are not wrong. TCM doesn't have commercials, but they do show promos for upcoming movies between movie times. They never interrupt a movie once it's started.

Agree with Bman72s the Indy/Denver game was unwatchable on CTVHC, loaded with artifacts the picture resembled a swarm of bees. Why even offer a hd channel with such a low bit rate that you can't watch. Bell TV is bandwidth challenged, so adding new hd channels is stupid.

The Yankees @ Red Sox game is on Rogers Sportsnet East ch. 406, but not on the hd ch. 1406 for some reason. That channel is black and not showing anything.

I think the pq has gone down on the MLB EI hd package. Some of the games don't look like hd, although they still look better than sd. Maybe they have all the games on one transponder.

BEV didn't offer the MLB package until mid season last year, so the price last year was a special half season price. I don't remember the exact price, but I believe I paid about $120. Just guessing, but I would expect to pay close to $200 this season.
